It's great that Google is actually looking at the Linux desktop community and providing Picasa for the Linux environment but this is a bit of a healf-hearted attempt at acknowleding the Linux desktop user community. I for one, have very little time to deal with another version of Wine and the complications it might cause when used with CrossOver Office by Codeweavers. Thought it wasn't completely stable, it was quite usable running on Fedora Core 4 at work late last year.I would be more interested in seeing a native Linux version or Web version of Picasa than a Wine packaged version of Picasa or any other desktop application.
